A short daily prayer card

स्वामिये शरणम् अय्यप्पा స్వామియే శరణం అయ్యప్ప സ്വാമിയേ ശരണം അയ്യപ്പാ

Swamiye Saranam AyyappaLord Ayyappa, I seek refuge in you.

The same invocation appears above in Devanagari, Telugu and Malayalam. Chant at a comfortable pace; this page does not set a mandatory count.

Suggested morning and evening practice

  • Remember Ganapati and offer salutations to Dharma Sastha.
  • Recite Saranaghosham slowly, understanding the expression of refuge.
  • Include a familiar stotram or devotional song learned from your temple group.
  • Conclude with namaskaram and a prayer for the well-being of others.

During the day

Use the invocation as a gentle reminder of the observance. Quiet remembrance can accompany patient speech and service; chanting should not disturb fellow travellers or interfere with hearing safety directions.
